The photograph shows stone no. 28 from the artist’s collection, which consists of over 350 stones of diverse geological origin. The object is a rounded limestone, approximately 2 cm in diameter. Isolated against a black background, it appears as a celestial body suspended in darkness. The work is part of “Island Universes”, an ongoing project in which each stone in the collection is considered a self-contained universe.
